About Me
I was born on March 25th in Bereilly India Where my Father was serving with the British Army. My Mother and I together with most of the other army families were shipped of from India to UK, as the British Army were concerned that the Japanese would invade India. We left England in 1948 together with my brother Antony to join my father who was now in Kenya. My younger brother John was born in Nakuru Kenya
After that I attended multiple Kenya Schools as my father had left the Army by then and could not settle into Civilian lifeI married a Nanyuki farmer John Gasson(ex Prince of Wales ex Kenya Regiment) in 1961 and we had 3 children who are now adult,Unfortunately Our marriage didnt work out and we were later divorced,
The children and I came to Australia in 1971
I am now retired after working for 32 years with the Disability Services Commission and enjoying retirement
During my life I have travelled to many countries see photos
